Holiday Inn Express Inverness by IHG

Rooms: Standard Size, spotlessly clean. Service: Good buffet breakfast. Decent coffee available 24/7. Great staff. Shout out to both Karen and Judith, who, despite being very busy on the evening of my stay, took time to chat, advise locations, and provide as much help as possible. Location: Just off a major road and a short walk to a shopping center with restaurants, supermarkets and clothes. Would recommend if in the area.

Stayed here for two nights on a trip to Inverness. The staff here are outstanding, and the included breakfast is nice. The free parking lot is great, and we liked that it was a 3 minute walk to the shopping centre that has a Tesco, Boots etc. The bus ride from the shopping centre is easy access to downtown Inverness which is also good as we needed a break from driving. We’ll definitely be coming back and I have to mention the awesome staff one more time!

Stayed here on 2 separate nights and our stay was pleasant on both instances. The reception staff and the support staffs were very welcoming. The rooms were spacios and warm. The best part was the breakfast and free hot drinks. So refreshing especially in the cold winter. Special mention to Mr Richard who gave us advise on what to expect at Edinburgh. Highly recommended. Might stay here again if i returned.

This is a clean and comfortable hotel near Inverness and within driving distance of Loch Ness. Rooms are clean, but small. Breakfast pretty standard Hot English breakfast. Better than other Holidays Inns we’ve stayed at in Scotland.

A great value for money. The pantry is big and you will get unlimited tea and Coffee throughout. They also serve beers. Just a 4 minutes of walk and you will reach the shopping sqaure adjacent. Inverness town is some 30 minutes of walk which I am sure you will enjoy.

Stayed here for 4 nights through my work while working in and around Inverness/Aberdeen. Lovely hotel, honestly can't fault anything: the staff that I interacted with were lovely, welcoming and nothing was too much bother. I loved the fact you could go downstairs anytime of day to grab a hot drink from the restaurant area. A microwave, snacks, drinks are also available which is a lovely touch. Beds are really comfy, room nice and warm and clean and the carpark was well lit, with ample spaces available despite the hotel being quite busy looking.

My family and I stayed at this hotel during a family medical emergency, so we could be close to the hospital. We were pleasantly surprised at the full hot breakfast and 24-hour food offerings in the lobby cafe. But the best was the kind, thoughtful service from the staff. They were friendly and helpful from the start, and went above and beyond in helping us with anything we needed. Going back to the hotel each night to be greeted by friendly smiles and offers to assist us made a difficult trip better, and I'm so appreciative.

Wonderful experience, clean rooms, peaceful place, friendly staff, free coffee for guests. Ample parking space all free. It's location is also great just an hour from fort Augustus and 15 min from the city centre. Overall great experience, highly recommended. The breakfast is good with good options for an English style breakfast and cereal and porridge. You can even ask for vegan sausages. There's is a cute and small automatic pancake making machine aswell. The lobby has comfortable seating and a TV. You can grab a free coffee or drinks and just sit in the lobby in peace enjoying your drink. Just one thing if your booking via third party websites they can't change the booking for you, however if you book from their own website they can change the room or bed for you.
